MeridianLink Hosts 2023 User Forum at the Disneyland® Resort May 8-11

The Happiest Networking Events on Earth and Other Forum Updates

According to previous post-Forum surveys, networking ranks equal to education opportunities at our annual customer event. And while the details of the concurrent sessions have been available for some time, it’s now time to unveil some of the key networking opportunities at the 2023 MeridianLink® User Forum May 8-11 at the Disneyland® Resort in Anaheim, CA.

Monday, May 8

Customer Welcome Reception

4:30 P.M. – 7 P.M.

Get settled in your room and then come join us for User Forum’s kickoff event. There will be food and beverages available as you meet new colleagues and re-engage with old acquaintances in a very casual atmosphere. This is a wonderful place to arrange a meet-and-greet with your Account Executive and key MeridianLink staff—and you might meet some special guests as well! This event takes place on the Adventure Lawn between the Disneyland® Hotel and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel® & Spa so it’s easily accessible from wherever you are staying. (Included in registration.)

Monday Nightcap With Trivia

9 P.M. – 10 P.M.

For those of you who like to stay up a little longer and mingle, our Nightcap event offers the opportunity to enjoy your favorite libation with Forum friends new and old. Tonight’s Nightcap event will be a trivia night where you can put all your useless knowledge to good use across an array of topics to win prizes! This is an attendee favorite started during our virtual Forum events. (Included in registration.)

Tuesday, May 9

MeridianLink ARC Award Reception: 5:30 P.M. – 6:30 P.M.

MeridianLink ARC Award Ceremony and MeridianLink Certification Recognition: 6:30 P.M. – 7 P.M.

MeridianLink ARC Award Dinner: 7 P.M. – 8:30 P.M.

The MeridianLink ARC Award celebrates the achievements of our customers who’ve utilized MeridianLink products in ways that have yielded meaningful results to their bottom lines, user satisfaction, and community betterment. The event kicks off with a reception where you can unwind after a full day of educational sessions, followed by the presentation of the MeridianLink ARC Awards to the first class of customer recipients. During the presentation, those who have passed MeridianLink® Consumer and/or MeridianLink® Opening Certifications will also be recognized.

The event ends with a special dinner for all Forum attendees to help congratulate the winners and give you more networking time with attendees. Following dinner, entertainment kicks off and leads into the Tuesday Nightcap. (All events included in registration.)

Tuesday Nightcap With Special Entertainment

8:30 P.M. – 10 P.M.

Another networking opportunity for the night owls! This after-hours event is a continuation of the MeridianLink ARC Award Dinner and is a fantastic way to close out the first full day of User Forum. (Included in registration.)

Wednesday, May 10

Special Forum Event—A Magical Evening in the Happiest Place on Earth: 5 P.M. – 12 A.M.

MeridianLink Hospitality Suite Inside the Disneyland® Park: 7 P.M. – 9 P.M.

Disneyland® Park Nightcap in Hospitality Suite: 9 P.M. – 10 P.M.

We couldn’t very well hold our 2023 Forum this close to the Happiest Place on Earth™ and not go inside! MeridianLink has negotiated special evening passes to Disneyland® Park for a last-night event that everyone should remember, regardless of your age.

Attendees will be given these special passes along with gift cards to purchase food of their own choosing inside. The park is open until 12 A.M., and MeridianLink attendees can come and go as they please throughout the night as the park entrance is just a short walk from either Forum hotel.

Attendees can explore world-famous rides designed for all thrill levels, visit shops, people watch, and stroll throughout the many themed areas. When you want to take a break, MeridianLink has a hospitality suite within the Tomorrowland® area where you can kick back, enjoy your favorite libation (adult or otherwise) and a variety of desserts, and chat with your fellow attendees. Come and go as you please!

There will be a couple of contests throughout the evening—enter and participate for the chance to win prizes. Make sure you bring your phone as you will want to take pictures.

Perfect You: Tap Into the Power of Your Authenticity To Meet the Moment

It takes people 7 seconds to form an opinion about you. That’s why most of us are taught to fit into a box, instead of embracing those parts of ourselves that stand out. As a former national TV journalist, Mariana is no stranger to labels. She was the only Spanish-speaking Latina correspondent at MSNBC for many years and was often encouraged to leave parts of herself at the door. It wasn’t long before she realized that ‘covering’ did not foster real belonging. This is only heightened in the financial services industry, where there is a larger need to put yourself out there in order to service and build community. Mariana’s key is to double down on your authenticity and follow easily applicable formulas to discover what makes you special. Through relatable anecdotes, actionable tools, and dynamic exercises, she will lead the audience on a journey to embrace their secret sauce and begin the great next chapter of their lives and careers. With Mariana’s Control Framework, attendees will learn to reclaim their power, lessen their fear of failure, and leave energized to apply the lessons from the MeridianLink User Forum. The current climate calls for nothing less.

Mariana Atencio took the world by storm when her TEDx talk “What Makes YOU Special?” went viral. To date, it has over 22 million views and has been translated into 13 languages. An expert on the power of authenticity, her book “Perfectly You” was an Amazon Best Seller and selected by Audible and Apple Books. She’s quickly become one of the most sought-after keynote speakers, founding her own media company, GoLike, and giving everyone the tools to tell their own stories. A former anchor and reporter for NBC, her journalistic work has been honored with a Peabody, a Gracie, and an IRE award. Mariana has appeared on the Today Show, The Talk, and HBO.
