Customer feedback is always the primary basis for planning each year’s MeridianLink User Forum (MLUF) agenda. Since our May 2022 event’s closing, we’ve been reviewing and revising our program session offerings to incorporate your input and suggestions. Some requests have been easy to incorporate, while others took some discussion and thought. But we’re now nearing what we feel is the strongest slate we’ve had in our six years of LIVE events.
As we add the finishing touches and finalize our speakers, we want to give you an overview of what’s in store for you May 8-11, 2023, at Disneyland® Resort in Anaheim, California.
The most popular agenda items each year are the product breakout sessions. These concurrent sessions cover recent product updates, offer attendees the chance to learn best practices from peers, and provide demonstrations and training for those products with which you have limited familiarity. Here’s an overview of the planned track offerings:
MeridianLink® Consumer, Opening, & Portal
There are nearly 20 sessions devoted to our highest-demand products covering a range of valuable topics. The offerings currently focus on new features and functionalities within the Modern Experience release, best practices, customer successes, and a track devoted to product training for beginners as well as advanced users.
We’ve added a special roundtable session for those of you who want to network with financial institutions that use your same banking core system. And we’re bringing back the popular Ask Your Account Manager session to create highly engaging conversations with product experts and your peers.
(Keep reading to discover the secret. We promise it’ll be worth your while.)
This year, we’ve planned a full 2.5-day track for DecisionLender sessions that focus on new and upcoming product capabilities, best practices, peer case studies, and training. There are also sessions highlighting features and functionalities within DecisionLender Version 4.0 for those considering upgrading in the next year.
Per our product users’ request, we’re expanding the Mortgage track to a full 2.5 days, as well. The covered topics will include product updates, advanced training for users, and a deep dive into the future of mortgage lending. As usual, time is allotted for users to work directly with the Mortgage product team. Plus, you’ll have a chance to learn more about OpenClose, MeridianLink’s newest acquisition.
MeridianLink® Marketplace Vendor Showcase
Some of the most popular sessions at our 2022 event were the sessions presented by our Diamond and Platinum Vendor Sponsors. This year, we plan to have four Diamond Vendor presentations following each of the general keynote sessions and up to 10 Platinum Vendor presentations during the concurrent track sessions. These vendors will focus on thought leadership topics based on their product/service offerings. It’s a great way to become acquainted with unfamiliar vendors that could help you meet your loan processing and account opening needs.
Just over a year ago, MeridianLink acquired a business lending software product that provides a robust solution to the growing interest in business lending, especially small business lending. We listened to what customers told us about their strategies to help businesses in their communities expand and diversify their lending portfolios. Business lending in general, as well as the features and functionalities of the MeridianLink Business product, will be highlighted in this track.
(Don’t worry—you’re still on the right path to the big secret!)
The Engage track focuses on how to tailor and improve your marketing efforts surrounding new account and new loan acquisitions. These sessions will cover how the MeridianLink Engage product works and provide step-by-step instructions on how it can help your business grow. Current MeridianLink Engage customers will share their data-supported feedback and success stories about how this product has worked for them.
Learning how to best use your data has become a large point of interest within financial institutions. MeridianLink Insight sessions will focus on how you can use industry best practices to organize, report, and integrate your data into your business plans, campaigns, scoring, and loan processing. These sessions focus on real-life situations and how to solve the data challenges you’re experiencing.
This is always one of the most popular tracks, as the MeridianLink Consulting team covers a variety of topics that can help improve your system and portfolio performance. Session topics include process optimization, custom scorecards, and how to leverage the data reporting capabilities of MeridianLink Insight with MeridianLink Consulting to enhance your internal scorecards.
In today’s economy, collections have taken on an increasingly larger role within financial institutions. Collect sessions focus on how to get the best return on your collections investment. Plus, since the MeridianLink Collect demo has garnered so much interest in the last year, it will once again be on display.
Special Product Demonstrations
This was specifically requested by many 2022 User Forum attendees. All primary MeridianLink products will be demonstrated throughout the event in a special room. This will help you become familiar with our products and give you the opportunity to ask more specific questions about their features, attributes, and benefits.
(You’re almost to the secret. Just a bit further.)
In addition to the concurrent track sessions, we’ll offer multiple keynote sessions, our popular—and newly expanded—vendor exhibit area, one-on-one sessions where you can have a scheduled discussion with your MeridianLink Account Manager and other key staff members, increased networking opportunities, and evening events including a very magical experience for all in attendance! More updates are on the way.
