The 2023 MeridianLink® User Forum May 8-11 is coming up quickly, and we’re pleased to announce more of the presentations and sessions on this year’s agenda.
Last month, we provided the 60+ concurrent session descriptions for this year’s live customer event, and now it’s time to provide details on the Keynote and General Sessions. While the lineup is still being finalized, here are some of the presentations you can look forward to throughout the week:
Tuesday Morning Keynote: Jean Chatzky
Financial Wellness for All
Here are a few things we know—for sure—about money: It can be stressful, awkward, and when it comes to managing it, human beings often do things that are not in our own best interest. That’s an issue for the credit unions and community banks members and customers are counting on to help them improve their financial lives, to help them become financially well. But how do you do that, exactly? How do you step into this minefield with empathy, scale, and create real change?
Financial expert and best-selling author Jean Chatzky, the CEO of HerMoney.com, has been navigating these waters for more than 30 years. With the same humor and candor that she brought to Oprah and the Today show, she’ll lay out a roadmap you can follow to help the people you serve (and those in your organizations) improve their finances and sleep a little better at night.
Jean Chatzky is the founder and CEO of HerMoney.com and the coaching programs FinanceFixx and InvestingFixx. She is the host of the podcast HerMoney with Jean Chatzky and the co-host of the national radio show Everyday Wealth. The Financial Ambassador for AARP, she was the Financial Editor for NBC Today for 25 years. Jean is an award-winning journalist and broadcaster, a New York Times and Wall Street Journal best-selling author, and a fierce advocate for financial literacy. Her latest books are Women with Money: The Judgment-Free Guide to Creating the Joyful, Less Stressed, Purposeful (and Yes, Rich) Life You Deserve and How to Money, a guidebook for Gen Z women. Follow her @JeanChatzky.

Thursday Morning Keynote: Mariana Atencio
Perfect You: Tap Into the Power of Your Authenticity To Meet the Moment
It takes people 7 seconds to form an opinion about you. That’s why most of us are taught to fit into a box, instead of embracing those parts of ourselves that stand out. As a former national TV journalist, Mariana is no stranger to labels. She was the only Spanish-speaking Latina correspondent at MSNBC for many years and was often encouraged to leave parts of herself at the door. It wasn’t long before she realized that ‘covering’ did not foster real belonging. This is only heightened in the financial services industry, where there is a larger need to put yourself out there in order to service and build community. Mariana’s key is to double down on your authenticity and follow easily applicable formulas to discover what makes you special. Through relatable anecdotes, actionable tools, and dynamic exercises, she will lead the audience on a journey to embrace their secret sauce and begin the great next chapter of their lives and careers. With Mariana’s Control Framework, attendees will learn to reclaim their power, lessen their fear of failure, and leave energized to apply the lessons from the MeridianLink User Forum. The current climate calls for nothing less.
Mariana Atencio took the world by storm when her TEDx talk “What makes YOU Special?” went viral. To date, it has over 22 million views and has been translated into 13 languages. An expert on the power of authenticity, her book “Perfectly You” was an Amazon Best Seller and selected by Audible and Apple Books. She’s quickly become one of the most sought-after keynote speakers, founding her own media company, GoLike, and giving everyone the tools to tell their own stories. A former anchor and reporter for NBC, her journalistic work has been honored with a Peabody, a Gracie, and an IRE award. Mariana has appeared on the Today Show, The Talk, and HBO. If you are into true crime, her latest project is a podcast about two women who go missing on a trail. It’s called “Lost in Panama” and it was among Apple’s top 10 podcasts in its week of release. You can find Mariana on social media at @marianaatencio.
