00:07 – 04:14
Alright. Hello, everybody.
Hopefully, you just saw a video, chat. I brought three of my friends with.
I’ll ask them to join me on stage. We’re going to do, MeridianLink Live, ask me anything today.
So I brought Kevin, Nate, and Kenny. You’ll see them all here over the next few minutes.
They’re joining me for stage. Welcome to the MeridianLink live AMHQ.
Thanks for joining us. Looks like we’ve got around a 100 folks.
I think we’ve got a 150 between a hundred and fifty and two hundred registered. So there’s a bunch of us.
Hello, Rebecca. Feel free to get the chat going.
I’ll pay attention to it. I commit to that.
I’ll pay attention, and we will, we’ll keep the chat. I’ll respond to actually, while I’m presenting.
I love doing that. So, glad you could join us today.
Hello, Savannah. Hello, Julie.
We’re going to share some fun details today. We’re going to do some, what the specifics are going to look like in Orlando live, ML live.
We’re going to share some of our presenters, some of the content, some of the logistics, some of the fun. If you have questions, you can put them in the chat.
We’ll try to monitor it. We’ll see how the monitoring goes, but we’ll go from there.
So, yeah, post in chat. Where are you at? What city are you in? What state are you in? Where are you coming from? Thanks for joining us today.
We’re very, very, very excited to see everybody in Maine, Orlando. We are we are planning a world class event.
This group of folks that are on the call, this is our core charter. So for us, this is our main focus.
It’s fun. We are the event planning group.
We don’t have a third party. We don’t have a DMC or any of these big, things.
So we’re the group. So if there’s a question you want to ask, we’ll do our best to answer today.
Hopefully, this is informational, and, we’ll show you what it’s going to look like. So, a quick recap.
Hopefully, a bunch of the folks that are on today joined us in Nashville last year. We were at the Gaylord last year in Nashville.
We had something like, I don’t know, 1,250 in total attendees. Got to go to Opryland.
We had, I don’t know, 70 different content sessions, and, we had folks from all over the country. We had folks from banks and credit unions and QSOs and IMBs, you name it.
So, a really, really great event last year. We’re going to be, rotating.
So we’re going to be here in Orlando, in May. We’re going to move again next year.
We’ll share we’ll share that another time. But we’re going to keep rotating around.
We want to try to make sure that people from all over the country can come visit us. And in, May and Orlando, it should be sunny and warm.
So, for all of you who are with us in Nashville, thanks for rejoining us today. Look forward to seeing everybody in Orlando.
I am here in very warm, seasonably warm Phoenix, Scottsdale, Arizona. It’s in the eighties here.
Waste Management, PGA golf tournament is going on. So everybody is here for that, gets the warmth.
We’ve got some of our friends from Atlanta, SoCal, and Utah here. My friends have joined us.
So, we’re all over the country as well. So let’s dive into 2025.
We are meeting Orlando. The theme of our event this year is Converge, and I think it’s important as you think about an industry event.
We have a very unique position in the market at MeridianLink. We’re going to Converge in Orlando.
We’re going to Converge different segments, different personas and people that work inside of financial institutions, thought leaders across the industry. We’re very excited.
We feel ourselves as a hub in this industry. We want to make sure that you can see all of our vendor technology partners will show up.
All of you from around the country, I see where you guys are posting from. You’re converging on Orlando.
I see there’s a few of you in Orlando. We’re very, very, very excited to, to welcome you to Orlando.
Let’s get into some of the details today. So we’ll talk about the basics, you know, where, when, what’s that going to look like.
We’ll share some of the highlights on the agenda. The agenda is, going to be available soon.
Maybe is it available, Kevin? Is it available now?
Event Details and Logistics
Kevin Fleetwood
04:15 – 04:19
Kenny, is it posted up yet? Is the last one?
Kenny Nguyen
04:19 – 04:23
That was supposed to be the big reveal today. The agenda is live on the website.
Jeffrey Wadholm
04:23 – 05:55
We just did the big reveal early on, so off we go. So we’ll talk about the tracks, speaking opportunities, our personal favorite, which is the Arc Awards, opportunity to network.
Again, thinking about that converge theme, the opportunities to network are immense, key dates, and then we’ll have some q and a as well. So, let’s dive into it.
Let’s jump in. So here’s what you got to have you got to know.
Here’s the essentials. The essentials are May 5 through May 8.
We’re at Universal Orlando Resort. Kevin and Nate and I were just there last week.
We did a site visit. Beautiful location.
Absolutely fantastic. Weather was great.
The views are great. The people were wonderful.
The, facility is world class, and they know how to, support an event like this. So very, very, very excited to be there.
You got a QR code. Hit it.
Everybody’s got their phone. Grab that QR code, and we’re excited for the next, eight days through midnight eastern time on Valentine’s Day.
We have a $500 off discounts called the sweet part of a deal. So and that’ll be it.
After that price goes up, stays up. So if you want to get in soon, we hope that we’ll help you to make that decision today.
But you can get in there. You can make your hotel reservations, and start to register and get moving forward.
Registration’s flying. We have a ton of folks out there.
We’re very, very excited about it. Kevin, anything you want to add on the essentials?
Kevin Fleetwood
05:55 – 06:42
I think I would just make sure that, once you register and get your confirmation, that is the link to make your hotel reservation. And there’s the two hotel choices that you can select from on there.
And then also for guest registrations, go ahead and register yourself. And then once you have your confirmation code, send that to events@meridianlink.
com, and we can send you out the code to register your guest. So we need your confirmation number, and then, we can send you your guest code, and then you’d use the same form to register that guest.
Jeffrey Wadholm
06:43 – 06:45
Great. Thanks.
Kenny Nguyen
06:45 – 06:55
Hey, Kevin. We have a question coming in from Jeff here in Texas.
Looks like he’s booking his travel plans, and he wants to know if we have discounts on the universal tickets.
Kevin Fleetwood
06:56 – 07:56
And, I can answer that.
We don’t. Unfortunately, this year, we were able to, get them from Universal.
However, there are some places online that do offer discounts on Universal tickets. I don’t know if you’ve been watching television, especially here on the East Coast, but, Universal Epic, their new park opens in June.
And so because of that, they are staying pretty much in an oversold situation. So they’re really not offering that many discounts at this point in juncture because they don’t have to.
But you can find some discounts if you look online. But as of right now, we are unable MeridianLink is unable to offer any discounts on park passes.
Jeffrey Wadholm
07:58 – 07:59
Yep. Oh, wow.
Kenny Nguyen
07:59 – 08:07
For the special event, our guests, registered guests who pay for the event ticket, are they invited to the special event as well?
Jeffrey Wadholm
08:07 – 08:00
Let’s talk about that. Yeah.
Gavin, go ahead.
Kevin Fleetwood
08:11 – 08:46
Certainly are, guest registration gets you, breakfast every morning, as well as the morning keynote presentations.
It also gets you all the evening events, the welcome reception. It gets you the Arc Award dinner on and entertainment on Tuesday evening.
And most definitely, it gets you into the special event in Universal Studios on Wednesday night, and we’ll go into that more detail. Jeff is Jeff is, interested to talk about that.
Jeffrey Wadholm
08:47 – 11:27
Yeah. Okay. We’ll keep it on.
Let’s keep moving through the highlights. I see a little bit of chatter about hotels.
There’s two hotels connected to each other. So when you get in your registration, dive in there, and we will continue to make sure that registration hotels are available.
Keynote Speakers
So, we’re very, very excited about our speaker lineup this year. Some friends and industry expertise, some incredible, motivational with our friend Diana.
So we have Diana Naiad. If you aren’t familiar with Diana, do a quick Google search, jump on to Netflix.
She’s trending right now. She’s got a documentary and a movie that are both very popular on Netflix.
David Gardner, the cofounder of Motley Fool and, I think self proclaimed chief rule breaker, and then Logan Mohatshami, who is joining us from HousingWire. These are our keynotes.
These are going to be in the big rooms Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday morning. There are going to be about 40 other speakers that you’ll be able to find on the agenda from MeridianLink customers, industry thought leaders, expertise, our vendor partners, you name it.
So these are our big keynotes. We’re very excited.
World class speakers, great humans, and we’re very, very excited to welcome them to join us, to converge on Orlando. So that’s our keynotes.
Track Sessions and Agenda
We’ll keep it going. So when you think about after keynotes, track sessions, we will have concurrent tracks going all day Tuesday, all day Wednesday, all day Thursday.
And so, depending on what your focus, priority, role, segment, vertical, what where you show up from, you’re going to have many, many, many options every thirty minute slot. So we’re going to continue generally rotate around thirty to sixty minute, sessions.
You’ll be able to be thinking about all of the different topics, growing your institution, risk, fraud, operational efficiency, how do we continue to work on digital experience and our digital progression? We will have content galore. And one of the things we want to focus on this year is to just to make sure that we’re being thoughtful about everyone being welcome, whether you focus on indirect auto loans, mortgage, whether you’re in a bank or a credit union, we want to make sure that everyone has content available for them.
And so the tracks that you’ll see in the agenda that we’re going to share, are going to be very, in-depth and wide to make sure we’re inclusive for everybody. So there will be a flavor for every half hour, every sixty minutes.
We’re very excited to, to welcome everybody and have content that is primed and ready for the whole squad.
Kenny Nguyen
11:27 – 11:31
Hey, John. Can I add on to the agenda a little bit?
Jeffrey Wadholm
11:30 – 11:31
Yes.
Kenny Nguyen
11:31 – 11:52
One of the new things we’re adding this year is tags. Every session is going to be associated with a tag.
And so if you go to our agenda page right now, which Maria linked earlier in the chat, you’ll see a filter button that you can click on. Click on tags, and you can see all the different topics that we’ll have, throughout the entire event.
So click around, look for topics that really interest you, and see if you can attend those specific sessions.
Jeffrey Wadholm
11:52 – 12:44
Beautiful. Beautiful.
Yeah. The agenda link, if you can scroll up in the chat, you’ll be able to find it.
If you have questions, please post them in the q and a. We’re going to be talking about strategy, growth, fraud, risk, AI.
You name it. The topics are going to be all over.
We’re going to talk about the MeridianLink product road map, and you’ll be able to find it. We’ll have the app.
We’ll be loaded with content, hashtags. We’re going to try to make this as easy as possible for you to be able to have value, network the people who look, show up, think the way that you do, and also how do we learn from others in the industry.
So really broad content spectrum this year. We’re very excited.
And again, back to that theme of Converge. This is about how do we bring all of these different perspectives, humans experiences, and, and Converge on Orlando and share that out.
Kevin Fleetwood
12:44 – 13:14
And, Jeff, I’d also sort of say that a lot of the sessions this year, we’ve added sort of different formats. There’s more round tables and, ways of talking with each other than there has been in the past.
So we really listen to the feedback that we get from previous years. And so that is one of the things that we really focused on this year is adding more round tables and sessions where people can participate.
Jeffrey Wadholm
13:14 – 13:19
Exactly.
I’m going to go on mute. Nate want to share about speaking opportunities for the friends that are joining us here?
Nate O’Gwin
13:19 – 13:56
Sure. I mean, there’s we’ve got all sorts of different opportunities that we’ve pulled up here.
And if you guys are interested in speaking, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. You can reach out to, meridian link dot com, meridian link or it’s [email protected]. You could send an email there.
That is constantly watched. We’re watching it and answering to it on a regular basis.
So please, if you think you’ve got, an excellent session to bring to the table, share your topic, share your ideas, and we will definitely take them into consideration and hopefully get you added to our session lineup.
Jeffrey Wadholm
13:56 – 15:44
Yeah. If you can screenshot, feel free to screenshot so you get the link. I’m sure we can post the link in the chat as well.
But we want to hear from everybody. Again, under the heading of how do we converge together on Orlando.
We want to make sure that our speaker back background is is diverse across the many segments that we help support, help grow. So if you’d like to join us on stage, whether it’s a passion project of yours, experience with MeridianLink, digital progression, you name it.
We want it. We want to talk about all of it.
So please join us, as you see fit and put an application and we’d love to hear from you. Alright.
Arc Awards and Customer Choice Awards
Our favorite, the Arc Award. So the Arc Award is our celebration.
We’re celebrating the top customers and the achievements of each of you that shows up every day, grows your business, supports your community. This is a really fun event.
If you haven’t been to MeridianLink Live, this is an evening event. It’s going to be a ton of fun.
We have dinner, open bar, and we will, stand and deliver a plethora of awards acknowledging growth, techno technological advancements, and, those who have us who are on the front edge of using technology to grow our financial institutions. It is always no matter what else we do.
It’s the most fun that we get to do. And for us here at MeridianLink, what a wonderful way to see, you know, our technology in support of your mission.
So we’re very excited. Please, please join for that.
If you can see the link on the bottom as well for the for the Arc Award, and we can submit. We’ll be submitting a big wide group of folks across the different segments, to be nominated for these Arc Awards.
So highlighted the event every year.
Kevin Fleetwood
15:44 – 16:23
And, Jeff, I would just say that, submissions are still being accepted. Customers are, encouraged to submit their company for the Arc Award.
Last year, over 60, I believe, it was close to 60 different customers submitted. So please feel free.
The email address or the link at the bottom of the screen gets you right into the form that you can submit. Everything that you need to do to submit is right in that, link.
Jeffrey Wadholm
16:23 – 20:35
Beautiful.
We have a question from Savannah. Savannah, we acknowledge your question related to product management.
If there’s value, we’ll save it to the end. Let’s put make sure we just put a pin in.
I want you to hear make sure you feel heard here. We’ll save it to the end for our q and a.
Alright. We will continue to move through.
We just want to make sure that we that we, get through our contents. We have time for q and a at the end.
Arc Award, Kevin just mentioned, you can nominate yourself. We’re nominating our customers, March 28.
So we’ve got about six, seven weeks to apply, simple form. The link is below.
We’ll post it in the chat as well. But what a great way to have your work, your teammates work, your peers acknowledged on a stage, on the biggest stage in our industry.
It is a world class fun evening. We look forward to seeing you and recognizing so many of you and the great work that you’ve done in, 2024.
We will continue on customer choice awards. Now this, this is fun.
This is new. We’re going to celebrate innovation.
We’re going to celebrate collaboration, and how do we measure success. So for us, this is around our technology vendors.
What vendors how do we have vendors self nominate? We’re going to have them come up and talk through how do we think about the awards, the success, the technology partners that we have. We’re going to have between fifty and seventy technology vendors joining us in our marketplace and our, at the conference this year.
And so we’re going to be talking through them again. Say this is going to happen the same night at the Arc Awards.
We’ll acknowledge this team. Again, as you think about, like, the fun and event and how do we converge, how do you learn, how do you grow, these folks are going to stand on stage and showcase themselves as top tier, growth, digital technology, you name it.
How do we think about security? It’ll give you a great opportunity to say, I recognize them. I’m going to talk to them tomorrow.
Networking Opportunites
The networking opportunities, the best practice sharing, the acknowledgment, all the hard work. This is yet another way that we’re going to be able to do that, put some people on stage and show off the great work that they did in ’24.
So can’t miss event. Very exciting in the evening.
As we think about networking, there is a material opportunity. And as much as I’d love to say our content, the evening events, the facility, the event happens because of our networking events.
The way that we can network, how we’re going to converge together, we’re going to have 50 to 75 of our partner, technology partners, industry partners, available at booths. We’re going to have carved out time for you to spend time, a welcome reception.
We’re going to have an evening events Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. And I think back to I think it was Jeff that from Texas that asked earlier about Universal.
We will have a private event at Universal Studios, that will be available only to us at the conference. So really, really excited to share that.
We’re going to be able to get on some rides, have some fun, celebrate. We have a great dinner and an evening at Universal Studios, which is just, steps away from our hotel.
So the opportunity here is to meet your peers, meet the, meet someone across the country, industry thought leaders, industry experts. There’s going to be a 100 of us from MeridianLink that’ll be there to support every technology partner, our sponsors, our friends in the industry.
Everyone is here, and this is the main event. The main event is how many times that we can help connect to these teams so we can do thought sharing, best practices, ideation.
What do you see and what are you hearing? And we’re trying to curate our content to support that. So that’s the main event, is the networking opportunity.
So come be vocal, share, say hello, shake hands, give high fives, and set time. We’ll have a lot of space.
There’s a lot of room. We have tens of thousands of square feet for us to connect, gather, learn, and we’ll also have a lot of opportunities to connect through the event app as well.
So very, very, very cool. Anything I missed, Kevin, Kenny, Nate, that you want to share on networking?
Nate O’Gwin
20:35 – 20:46
There’s just no there’s no just no way to bond like your hands in the air screaming at the top of your lungs. That’s a lifelong bonding moment when you’re on the roller coasters. It’s going to be awesome.
Q&A
Kenny Nguyen
20:46 – 21:05
Speaking of the event app, we have a question here. Are we using the Cvent app again this year? And the answer to that is, yes.
We are. Really excited to push off some new networking features on the app this year as well, so stay tuned for that.
When do we plan on releasing the app? I think we usually send it out early April ish. Is that right, Kevin?
Kevin Fleetwood
21:05 – 21:11
Yeah. Yes. It is it’s like the end of the first week or April.
Kenny Nguyen
21:11 – 21:12
Okay.
Jeffrey Wadholm
21:12 – 21:35
So you get a month advance in the app.
You’ll be able to see content, make connections. We’re going to try to make it fun and have some gamification as well so that you can engage and have a great time, make sure that we keep these in our hands, QR codes galore.
Very, very, very, very excited about the opportunity for us to network and hopefully that Cvent app will be yet another place that we can connect and converge.
Nate O’Gwin
21:35 – 21:54
Yep. And to that app’s point, and if you guys have any issues, concerns, or things that you absolutely love, please hit us at the events at meridian link dot com.
If there’s anything that we can make adjustments to, or we have things posted incorrectly on the app, please let us know and we can get those adjusted and make sure that your experience is as smooth as possible.
Jeffrey Wadholm
21:54 – 23:31
Yeah.
I love it. Alright.
So key dates to remember. Let’s make sure we have top of mind, February 14, last day of the sweetheart deal closes at midnight eastern time.
We’ve adjusted all of our, work to be eastern so that we’re aligned with Orlando. So you’ve got eight more days to, convince your manager to write the check, to jump in, to book your hotel, book your registration.
We would love to have you there. The event, the content, the people, the humans, the connection, the community, is world class, and we’re excited to welcome you to join us in Orlando.
So that is February 14. Price will go up on the fifteenth.
So if you can sneak your way into the next eight days, amazing. March 28, as we mentioned, last day for Arc Award submissions and the last day for the customer choice awards.
So those are two big dates. We’ll get to celebrate those together on Tuesday evening, April 11, last day for the discounted room rates.
So, those are the two hotels that Kevin mentioned earlier. I think I think we saw in the chat that most people are being directed to one of the hotels.
We will have room for you, regardless, but they are connected hotels right next to each other. The conference centers are in between.
So it is all one big unified property. So, for the eleventh and, fourteenth, first day to be able to download the app.
We just talked about that. The Cvent app will be coming out, and we will see everybody on Monday, May 5, for the welcome evening.
So Kevin, Kenny, Nate, what did I miss? What do you want to talk about with dates?
Kevin Fleetwood
23:31 – 23:55
Just the key thing is is if anything comes up where you have questions or things don’t work for you correctly or you’re asking about your registration, [email protected] is your friend.
Send any emails to that. We try to get back to you as quickly as possible, and get your questions answered.
Jeffrey Wadholm
23:55 – 26:26
Someone want to put that email address in the chat or redo it again. I’m sure we did it events@meridianlink.
com. We’re the real time team.
So if you have questions, we’ll be as responsive as you possibly can imagine. So, very excited.
I see a few more chats around content. We will get there in the q and a.
Thank you. Just acknowledging that we’re seeing those.
Let’s see. Top questions.
Here it is. How do I convince my manager that this is a worthwhile event? We’re helping you.
So we’ve got a link. So this is probably an important one.
We’ll post it in the chat. We put together some content to help you convince your manager.
Hey. How do I make sure that I can get there? A couple of thoughts just for me off the cuff.
This is, our intention is to create an event that is unique to MeridianLink. We are the only organization that is able to get this group of humans together on the planet.
We want to make sure that you have hard hitting relevant content that you can bring home and help grow your career, help grow your, institution, and, helps best support your end customers. That’s the number one.
We want to make sure that we’ve got community where you can connect, that you can learn, you can grow, you can shake hands, you can exchange LinkedIn addresses, and we want to make sure that there is a little bit of fun sprinkled in throughout. So we have great evening events that are awards.
We’ve got the private evening at Universal Studios together. For the first time, in the MeridianLink live, we’re going to have morning, wellness activities and run walks, some meditation and stretching.
So again, an opportunity not only to connect with others, but to prioritize their own wellness. And we’re trying to help you to the extent you can.
So if you’re like, hey, you know, if your if your boss is like, oh, I’m not sure. We want to give you the content to make sure that you have the right material in hand to say, hey.
This is why I need to be there. I hope it’s self evident.
And if it’s not, we’ve got content. We want to help you.
We want to be able to have you say, here, here’s the email. This is what I got from her.
Like, they thought about that because we want to have you join us. The more folks, the more experience, the more backgrounds, the more roles, the more different perspectives that we could gather together.
That’s where the power of this event comes in. It’s not from us.
This isn’t number this isn’t the power comes from MeridianLink. It comes from the community that we can uniquely gather together, in Orlando.
So we’re very excited to have you. To my friends, any other thing, questions, anything that you think about, like, hey.
How do I get my how do I get my lost staff to join? Did I miss anything? Fun community.
Nate O’Gwin
26:26 – 26:46
You nailed you nailed it. Right? I think that it’s the session. It’s the content.
But really, the time that you spend with the other FIs mind melding and sharing ideas and what’s working and what’s not is is this time that and time and well spent. You can’t get that back and you can’t buy that with money.
It’s incredible. Yep.
Kenny Nguyen
26:46 – 27:10
I think too, another good resource is the community forum. We’ve hosted this event.
I think it’s, like, part this is our eighth in person event. And so we have thousands of customers that have attended this event, and they can speak to how beneficial it is.
I see it in the chat too. Couple of folks saying, look, the networking opportunities, the things that we learned from all of the sessions, the vendors we meet with, I think it’s all very valuable. So if you need to connect with anyone, let us know. Check out the community forum, talk to other folks. I think those are all great resources.
Jeffrey Wadholm
27:10 – 30:19
Yeah. Yeah.
And our, you know, our our event keynotes, are going to talk about the macroeconomic climate and what’s happening across our industries. Logan is a, is world class voice in the mortgage industry.
So we’re going to have a really diverse thoughtful group of folks on stage to help us all get better. I’m going to be there as well.
I’m going to be your host and emcee for the event, but I’m going to sit there right next to every one of you, and take as many notes as I can. So just, again, very, very, very excited to join you guys, in Orlando.
If you have questions, please post them in the chat. And I would say some of the questions that I saw that I’ve just filtered through around what kind of my role in the content.
We’re being very intentional. I just want to just kind of, like, preempt the q and a.
We’re being very intentional about the way that we curate the content this year. We want to make sure that if you work in product, if you’re working if you’re a system admin, if you’re an executive, a chief funding officer, agnostic of your role, we want to make sure that you have content that’s relevant for you.
That’s right. The right time, the right content, the right altitude.
We want to make sure that no matter what kind of institution you’re coming from, what your focus is, who you’re serving, we’re trying to make sure that everyone can have a lane that they can spend the week together. And then in addition to be able to meet with all of our technology partners, to be able to spend time networking into the community events, into the awards.
But, to just preempt some of those, you know, what kind of content for me, we’re doing our best, like, on a hour by hour basis to make sure that every single human inside of one of our institutions could value from this, and then we’re trying to arm you with the information, to say, hey. Look.
I need to be at this event. So question becomes, like, if I’ve been here in the past, is it worth my time? The answer is yes.
Absolutely. First of all, you can’t replace the networking experience.
You can’t replace the community. And we’re coming with a whole bunch of new content, a whole bunch of new speakers, industry expertise, industry thought leaders.
And each year, we want to continue to make sure that we are prioritizing the attendee experience for our customers, for our prospects, for our industry, from our technology partners. We want to be incredibly thoughtful about how we show up.
Who comes? How do I register? We’ve gone through some of these different things. Register.
We will help you with here’s how you track. Here’s how you join.
Here’s how you figure out. Here’s how you how you book your hotel.
We have got a lot of great content already available. Our agenda is now going to be public.
That’s going to be live this afternoon for everyone to start, and it’s going to be dynamic. It’s going to continue to evolve the next two, three, four weeks as we get new ideas as we, you know, new partners come to the table as you guys continue to volunteer to present.
We’re going to continue to evolve that agenda over the next, you know, call it thirty days. We’ll walk in and be really ready to be, keyed in for the May or the May.
Excuse me. Any other top questions that I missed? Maybe we didn’t ask here, Kevin, Kenny, any my friends here.
Kevin Fleetwood
30:19 – 30:25
There may be one on subsequent slides that were questions that were.
Jeffrey Wadholm
30:25 – 30:34
Go for it. Go for it. Ask.
Go. Go. Go. No.
Go ahead, Kevin. What do you have? What questions you were you thinking? You had some in your head?
Kevin Fleetwood
30:34 – 31:28
A lot of people ask questions, especially since we’re in Florida, like the dress code and what should I wear during the day versus and, again, we just ask for business casual. You can be as comfortable as you need to be.
Please remember, hotels have a tendency to be a little cold. So if you if you want to take a light sweater or whatever into the rooms.
The evening events, for the most part, are outdoors, so you can dress comfortably for those and especially for the Wednesday night event over in Universal Studios. Dress very comfortable.
But the one thing I cannot stress enough is for people to wear very comfortable shoes at all times. There’s a lot of walking.
Jeffrey Wadholm
31:28 – 32:09
Yep. Yep.
You’ll get your steps in. Dress comfortable, appropriate, dress awesome.
Look. We want to make sure that you feel awesome.
You feel great. It’ll be it’ll be a little bit, you know, daytime mostly, indoors, in and outside both in the evening events.
So bring appropriate. It is going to be May in Florida.
But find something comfortable you can walk in. We’ll all be getting a lot of steps in and, and, you know, for us focusing on accessibility as well.
So, we will we’ll be able to partner with you guys, but show up, have fun, look great, feel great. I might wear a hot pink suit one day.
I don’t know. We’ll see.
It’s early.
Nate O’Gwin
32:09 – 32:49
I love that. I got I’ve got some answers for what vendors will be there. We’ve got 60 booths that are going to be there.
So it’s going to be an incredible event, and if you are interested, we still have, sponsorship for booths still available. So if you want to reach out again to that events at meridianlink.
com, If you’re a partner and you want to join us as a booth, we have eight by eights, 10 by tens, gold, silver, and I believe diamond sponsorships still available. So, please, if you’re interested, do not hesitate.
Reach out to us at events@meridianlink. com.
Jeffrey Wadholm
32:49 – 32:57
Love it. Love it.
We’ll have sixty, seventy of our technology partners there. So a list will come out.
We’ll be able to share that soon. Kevin, go on.
Sorry.
Kevin Fleetwood
32:57 – 34:17
And another questions that I’ve that I’ve seen come up are about if I’m, if I’m new to the product or a first timer to this event, by all means, this is something very appropriate for people who are just starting to use the software. There are demo sessions.
We can do demos on demand of specific products. We also, are planning to have a little, welcome first timers welcome for people who are first timers to the event.
Last year, we had over three hundred first timers to the event. So, and we got really good comments from them.
We’ll even give you a little button so we can we can recognize you as a first timer, and everybody can welcome you. But we will also sort of walk you through how to use the app, how the sessions are set up, how the hotel is set up, just so that you are aware of how this event, works so that it’s not scary for you to come into, a big group of 1,200 people and not know anyone.
Jeffrey Wadholm
34:17 – 35:54
I could thank you. Yeah.
We’re going to have training and education sessions, one o ones, two o ones, three o ones. So if you’re brand new, just join the platform, we’ll have content for it.
If you’ve been here five years, you’re a super user. First of all, come contribute, join us.
And second of all, we’ll try to, bring some more editing content for you as well. So a lot of training and education opportunities.
Kevin mentioned demos, that’ll be available to all of us. So, I saw I didn’t see a comment in the chat.
I’ll just address it now around Monday. Monday’s travel day registration.
So when you get in, come in, grab your swag, and then we’ll have a Monday evening, welcome event. Tuesday morning will be the big kickoff.
We’ll see, I’ll welcome us. We’ll have our CEO Nicholas join us, probably our president Larry.
Diana Naya will get us, all fired up, and then we will roll into content. So, Monday will be travel in the morning, registration in the late afternoon and an evening event where we gather.
Also on Monday, if you’re one of our executives, we’re going to host our second, third annual, executive summit. So details coming soon.
So if you’re on the team or if you want to have one of your chief lending officer, CEO, CFO, doesn’t matter, join us for the executive summit network with other executives. That will be, on Monday evening.
So oh, afternoon and evening. So excited to welcome that group, of customers, prospects, partners, technology friends.
So I think that will be a very, very exciting event at the evening, evening fun for the executive teams that will be happening concurrent to our welcome banner, and then we’ll be able to converge, after those events. So lot of good content Monday, and then the party really starts on Tuesday with the content.
Kevin Fleetwood
35:54 – 36:46
And some of the other questions center around knowing if other people there are going to be on your specific core so that you can network with them. When you register, you’re going to be, asked for your core, so that we have that, available.
The roundtable sessions and things like that will ask you to sign up on the app, so that way we can make sure that there are people of the same core in those roundtable sessions. We apologize upfront if there if not every core has a mate there.
But, we will do our best in those roundtable sessions to set those up to make sure that there are others on the same course in those sessions.
Jeffrey Wadholm
36:46 – 37:04
You got it. That’s, to that point, I’ll just put a finer point.
We’re going to try to make every effort opportunity we can to, network with folks that are like you, that can help, and also to learn from others that, may have different, you know, paths and perspectives. So we’re going to make sure both of those two things are possible.
Yeah.
Kenny Nguyen
37:04 – 37:14
But in the previous years, we’ve done, pins and ribbons to identify what core everyone is on. Do you know what we’re planning on doing this year to help identify, you know, cores that we match with?
Kevin Fleetwood
37:14 – 37:39
I think we are, we are working on developing our name badge this year so that the cores appear on the name badge.
But, again, we want to make sure that it’s big enough for everyone to see. So as soon as we know that, we’ll know whether we’re going to do pins, ribbons, or it’ll just be on the name badge itself.
Kenny Nguyen
37:39 – 37:55
Very cool. I just launched the poll.
Are you attending MeridianLink live twenty five? And it’s fun to see the data. We have the majority of us saying, yes.
I’ve already registered. There is one person still considering, but still not sure.
What can we do to get you to register in both?
Jeffrey Wadholm
37:55 – 38:39
Yeah. Post in the chat.
If you’re though if you’re, one of the other 105 people that have joined us today and you’re saying, I’m registered. I’ve been there.
I’m coming. Post your reason in the chat.
Why would you, what’s our hundred and sixth person that we want to have join us in Converge Orlando? What’s your reason? What’s your why on you? Why would you be there? Lots of questions here. I got to peel off another call.
We would be able to recap this. We’re going to be very communicative in the coming weeks.
Links, registration, information, content, agendas, things evolve. We’re going to keep kind of drip dripping you, campaigning you guys to make sure that you’re updated on what’s happening with all of us.
We’re very excited to, continue to move forward. So we are at Q and a.
Kevin, sorry. Go ahead.
Kevin Fleetwood
38:39 – 39:34
One of the things I do want to iterate, and we found this out last year after we did this webinar in advance. Just because you are attending this webinar does not mean that you are automatically registered for the live event.
You still need to go, onto the website and register. We had some people that got confused about that.
We didn’t show them as being registered when they came on-site. They wondered why they hadn’t gotten any of the, additional information that you receive after you register.
So just so you know, just so we’re clear, just because you are attending this webinar does not mean that you are registered to attend the event. You still need to go on to the website, get into the registration form, and register.
Jeffrey Wadholm
39:34 – 40:00
Alright. We are at the q and a.
If you have q and a, there’s a special we have our chat. You can see it.
It’s spinning. It’s going.
There’s a q and a section that just helps us to, to peel out the questions from the actually, we have a whole bunch of questions. We’ll get to some of them.
There’s some themes in our questions. So post them in there.
So one of the questions, Kevin, is logistics. Is there a hotel shuttle? Is there a shuttle from the airport to the hotel? Or how do we recommend what’s getting from the hotel?
Kevin Fleetwood
40:00 – 40:30
There is not a hotel shuttle, to Universal. There is to the Universal parts, but not to the hotels.
I would recommend either ride share, Lyft or Uber, or cab. Orlando is one of those cities that still has viable taxi cabs as well.
And then if you decide to drive, we have discounted parking at the hotels as well.
Jeffrey Wadholm
40:30 – 40:56
Bingo. Thank you.
A lot of questions about the dress code. I think we hit that.
Indoors during the day, primarily outdoors at night. Business casual, make sure you look awesome.
Great shoes that you can walk in. Get we’ll get our steps in during the day around the property and then in the evening events.
Anything else on dress code, Nate, Kenny that we didn’t talk about? Kevin and I hit it. Anything else you want to add? I think suits are optional.
Kevin Fleetwood
40:56 – 41:09
That’s pretty much it. Just pay attention to weather, because Florida gets warm fast.
So, just before you’re packing, make sure you look at the weather report.
Jeffrey Wadholm
41:09 – 42:44
Yep.
I think I hit this earlier, but I’ll just say one more time. There’s a few questions here about, like, you know, my particular role.
I’ve no. I’ve never been.
Let’s kind of try to hit this again. We’re we are being in thoughtful and intentional about making sure there’s plenty and probably overload of content, agnostic of your perspective of how you show up there.
So if you’re an admin, if you’re certified admin, if you work in product, you’re a lending leader, you’re an executive, we want to make sure that everyone can be served with a plate full of content that they can go home and help grow their careers in 2025. So, if you have that mindset of is this for me, we are intentionally wanting to make sure that the answer is yes.
This event can be for you, and we can all find value here. And we don’t want to make it hunting and pecking.
We want to be very clear. We talked earlier about inside of the event app, you will have session descriptions, what’s in it for me, these bullet points about what kind of content we may hear about.
We’re going to have tech hashtags, tags throughout, to make sure that you can find the content most relevant to your role, your growth opportunities in 2025, the products you may be interested from MeridianLink, any of our technology partners that are be joining us. So we want to make sure that this is a very inclusive event throughout the FI, marketplace and that each of you can find the right, the right kind of right altitude to make to get value.
Question about parking. How do we get a discount of parking pass, Kevin? How do we do that?
Kevin Fleetwood
42:45 – 43:08
Basically, what you will do when you, show up at the venue is you will state that you are attending the MeridianLink live event, and you will get a special rate when you, when they when you get your ticket. And when you exit, you’ll pay the reduced rate per day.
Jeffrey Wadholm
43:08 – 43:21
Thank you again, sir. Kenny.
Alright. So Kenny, Nate, anything that you saw either in the chat or in q and a that you want to pick up and touch on? And if you have new questions, please post them in q and a or the chat.
Kenny Nguyen
43:21 – 43:43
I saw a question about the app and the ability to scan the QR codes on everyone’s name tag. That is difficult to do for every single attendee, but, that is definitely a good idea.
I’ve heard that feedback before in the past and in the post, event surveys. And so, we’ll do our best to look into it.
No promises. Not guaranteeing anything, but we’ll look into it and see what we do. Make it easy to respond with everyone.
Nate O’Gwin
43:43 – 43:56
I think just to tag on to that. Right? The app you can chat each other, utilize that.
Right? Gather each other’s contact information within the chat, inside the app, and then you can write that down in you know a notebook.
Jeffrey Wadholm
43:56 – 44:14
Yeah. You can have your LinkedIn profile.
You can have your email address. You can show what you want to have visible or not visible, but there’s opportunities to connect network through the event app as well.
So be a great a great start, and then we’ll work on the QR space as well. What else? Team, what else? Anything you saw.
Kenny Nguyen
44:14 – 44:42
There’s another question about what sessions would be most beneficial for online account opening through MeridianLink. If you go to the agenda, I, I pinned it in the chat.
But if you go to the agenda and go down to the filters tab, you can, filter just by product. So you can look at all the opening, sessions that we have.
And so though that might be a really good start. If those aren’t good for you, send us an email at events@meridaclink.
com, and we’ll get you in touch with the right person to help kind of structure, the session that would be most useful for you.
Jeffrey Wadholm
44:42 – 45:40
Beautiful. Yeah. Now the question is, product demonstration availability.
We want to be as present as we can be without overwhelming. We will have a big presence inside of the technology marketplace.
We will have a special room for product demonstrations. We’re going to have our sales and sales engineering teams available for q and a.
If you want to do meetings, business reviews, you name it. So we’re going to have a lot there’s a lot of real estate.
There’s a lot of square footage, and we want to be there to help showcase, share, educate, thought partner with each of you. So access to MeridianLink product demos will be, vast, and our team and staff will be there to support every question, every we’ll take complaints.
We’ll take complaint lines open as well. So you name it.
We want to make sure that we’re there for any thoughts that you may have and, certainly, product demonstrations and, talking through our integrations with the many technology partners that’ll be in the room. What else?
Kenny Nguyen
45:40 – 44:45
I think that’s most of it.
Jeffrey Wadholm
44:45 – 45:48
Yeah. Anything new, team out there.
Kenny Nguyen
45:48 – 46:10
On the first day, the fifth, it says most of the day is dedicated to registration. That is true.
We do have that welcome event. That first day is really a travel day.
Right? We want everyone to just fly in on that Monday, check-in to the hotel, join us for the welcome reception, and then trivia night at night has been a huge hit. We get hundreds of people in there, open bar.
And so, yeah, take that, join us Monday.
Kenny Nguyen
46:10 – 46:41
Yeah. If you haven’t joined or if you haven’t been in the past, most of these, I shouldn’t say most.
All of these content sessions, evening events are very, very well attended. There’s going to be hundreds and hundreds, if not a thousand plus people at some of these events.
A lot of opportunities to network, build community, meet folks, and so, and have a lot of fun. We have a great time, keeping it in the right balance.
It’s a great event. Lots of fun to be had, and, we’re excited to have you guys.
I don’t see any new questions. We’ll give it another 30 seconds
Kevin Fleetwood
46:41 – 47:11
I have one on how quickly after registering do you get the invoice? The invoice is processed by our accounting team, and they’re usually sent at the end of the month. So if you register in December or January, our accounting team just received that list of folks to invoice.
And so you can expect it, I’d say, early next week, for that first batch of invoices. If you registered in February, you can expect it in early March.
If you need the invoice to be expedited for any reasons, shoot us an email, and I can, work with our accounting team to get that overview.
Jeffrey Wadholm
47:11 – 47:12
Yep. Love it.
Kevin Fleetwood
47:12 – 47:35
And just so everybody knows, once you get your confirmation number, you are officially registered for the event.
So, even if even if there’s a delay getting your invoice to pay for the event, having the confirmation number is what you would need for registration.
Nate O’Gwin
47:35 – 47:49
Yep. And not to sound like a broken record, but if you have questions, concerns, you’re worried about it, shoot us an email at [email protected], and we will confirm that you have, done the proper steps to get registered.
Jeffrey Wadholm
47:49 – 49:22
Great. Anything else from the team? Last thoughts.
I’ll just, I’ll send my old boss, bro. Fourteenth, sweetheart of a deal.
500 off registration. Make it easier on your manager.
We’ve got content for you. You get a discount if you register the next eight days.
We’re very, very, very excited to welcome to welcome all of you to learn together, to grow with you. This team here, we have a world class events group.
There’s going to be a 100 of us from MeridianLink behind the scenes trying to make this feel seamless, feel, as helpful, positive, growth fueled, fun, energetic, and, confidence inspiring as we possibly can. So please be communicative between now and May 5.
If there’s something that we can do, something we can consider, we would love to have you. We would love to have your perspectives come to the table for the planning group.
We’d love to have you stand on stage and share your story. We would love to see you have a stand on stage with your friends and, receive a Arc Award.
And so, contribute. That’s what this is all about.
The theme for us about Converge is how do we come together as a community? Reading Lake is a wonderful hub within this space, and we want to make sure that the friends, the teammates, the, you know, folks that we do business with on a day to day basis all come and, find value, community, and have a nice time. So, Kevin, Kenny, Nate, anything final?
Kevin Fleetwood
49:22 – 49:46
I will just say in closing, while we have tried to be very open and everything, there are still some surprises planned that we haven’t yet announced.
So we don’t want you to think you know everything. But, hopefully, you’ll enjoy those surprises, and, it will add to your experience.
Nate O’Gwin
49:46 – 49:50
Looking forward to seeing you all in Orlando.
Jeffrey Wadholm
49:50 – 50:20
Yep. Same.
High fives, hugs, hot pink suits. We’re excited to, to spend time together with our this is our community as well.
So thanks for joining us today. We’ll send out some important links, information, documentation. And if you need some events at meridlink.com, we’ll be here to help and respond. We look forward to seeing you all in Orlando, and you will, hear from us, very soon. So thanks, team.
Have a great week weekend, and, we’ll see you in Orlando. Cheers.
Bye, Eric. See you in a couple of months.
Bye.
