MeridianLink product enhancements: Clearing the path to yes

Every loan and new account has a path to yes, but getting there isn’t always straightforward for financial institutions. Manual processes, limited insight, and gaps in trusted data can slow even the strongest opportunities.

With new AI-powered workflows, smarter automation, and clearer visibility across the lending and account opening journey, we’re helping our customers remove friction across that path. These enhancements go beyond speed. They’re designed to help teams make confident decisions and deliver better experiences at every step.

Below is a snapshot of the latest MeridianLink® product enhancements, but there’s much more to explore

This quarter, we’re thrilled to introduce MeridianLink Intelligence. Millie brings role-based AI agents directly into MeridianLink® One to streamline workflows, increase application-to-funding speed, and improve both customer and employee experiences.

Unlike point solutions that automate isolated tasks, Millie works across the full lending lifecycle—executing work directly within your workflows, not just analyzing data. And because MeridianLink is the system of record—with over 30 years of experience, deep workflow integration, embedded compliance logic, and access to real operational data across the lending lifecycle—this capability is built into the foundation, not added on.

That distinction is critical.

AI is rapidly reshaping how work gets done across financial institutions. While investment is accelerating, most organizations remain stuck in pilot mode, struggling to translate early experimentation into a cohesive strategy that delivers real operational impact. A wave of startup solutions promise automation, but without deep integration into your data and workflows, they quickly fall short because the real differentiator is no longer access to AI—it’s how seamlessly AI is embedded into the systems that run the loans.

Doc Agent: The first of a growing set of task agents

Doc Agent for MeridianLink® Mortgage targets one of the most persistent sources of operational friction in lending and marks the starting point of MeridianLink Intelligence in action.

Document collection, review, and management is often slowed by unclear requirements, manual interpretation, and back-and-forth exchanges that drag out every file. Doc Agent changes that by embedding intelligence directly into the workflow:

  • Translating underwriting conditions into clear, borrower-ready requests
  • Pre-screening documents for completeness, quality, and relevance at the point of submission
  • Extracting key data and applies it directly into the loan application

Instead of documents triggering review cycles and rework, they move through a structured, intelligent flow that reduces ambiguity from the start:

  • Borrower uploads required documents (e.g., pay stubs, bank statements)
  • AI instantly evaluates quality, completeness, and relevance
  • Key data is extracted and validated against loan requirements
  • Clear accept/reject feedback is generated immediately
  • Approved data is automatically available for direct application entry, eliminating manual rekeying

For mortgage teams, that means fewer manual handoffs, fewer rework cycles, and faster movement from submission to decision.

In lending and account opening, every extra step creates friction, and friction leads to drop-off.

The latest enhancements introduced within MeridianLink® Access make it faster and easier for consumers to complete applications, while improving efficiency and accuracy for the financial institution.

At the top of the list is prefill, which instantly verifies identity and automatically populates personal data within the application. This reduces manual entry, speeds up completion times, and improves data consistency for staff reviewing applications. For consumers, the experience is seamless and straightforward. For institutions, it means fewer errors, reduced operational effort, and stronger fraud protection supported by verified data.

These enhancements also extend into a more connected application journey through greater omnichannel capabilities. Applicants can start and resume applications seamlessly across channels, reducing drop-off and supporting higher completion rates by allowing them to move at their own pace without losing progress.

Additional automation has also been introduced to further streamline both the applicant and staff experience. This includes automated ZIP code validation to determine membership eligibility, proactive disqualification notifications powered by rule-based logic, and automated consent documentation that consolidates auditable records.

Together, these improvements help financial institutions strengthen compliance while reducing manual effort and creating a more efficient, transparent application process.

MeridianLink® Mortgage continues to evolve with enhancements that help lenders boost productivity, streamline operations, and make faster, more confident loan decisions. These updates introduce greater control, visibility, and efficiency across key back office workflows:

  • Customizable loan application templates enable teams to define and manage standardized templates, helping reduce manual setup and ensure consistency across applications.
  • Centralized borrower and team communications are now accessible through an improved loan conversation log in the Originator Portal, eliminating the need for multiple logins and keeping all interactions in one place.
  • Automated application comparison data reuse improves both speed and accuracy in loan decisioning by saving comparison data and reapplying it when matching against electronic documents, reducing repetitive work and improving consistency.

Smarter marketing depends not just on data, but on how quickly that data can be put to work.

This release brings new enhancements across MeridianLink® Insight and Engage, improving how financial institutions turn information into action, automate workflows, and measure campaign performance with greater clarity.

Within both Insight and EngageShare of Wallet enhancements have been added to automate imported data and strengthen connectivity between platforms. This reduces manual effort and makes it easier for teams to identify opportunities, build more targeted campaigns, and act on signals as they emerge.

In Engagerisk segment aggregate reporting is now available, giving teams clearer visibility into campaign performance across risk segments. With more structured reporting, teams can more easily evaluate outcomes, compare results, and optimize performance with a more transparent view of ROI.

Together, these enhancements help teams move beyond reporting to action—turning insights into faster, more informed decisions.

Clearing the path to yes

Each MeridianLink product enhancement in this release reflects a shared focus: removing friction across the path to yes. When systems are more connected, workflows seamless, and insights are easier to act on, financial institutions can move with greater speed and confidence.
